We’re currently seeking a full-time detail-oriented, dependable professional to join our accounting team and take ownership of our payroll and accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with confidential financial information, while also being proactive about identifying and resolving discrepancies. This person should have strong attention to detail, excellent time-management skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines, along with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across the organization. Hands-on training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is fully supported and confident in learning our processes, systems, and procedures.
Focused Role Description:
- Process weekly payroll.
- Review and remit weekly payroll liability payments.
- Prepare and submit weekly prevailing wage certified payroll reports.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll forms.
- Maintain complete employee files and manage benefits eligibility.
- Coordinate employee new hire and termination forms.
- Process accounts payable invoices and credit card charges daily.
- Review invoices and credit card charges for proper sales / use tax.
- Process timely payments.
- Reconcile monthly statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor records and accounts.
- Manage employee credit cards.
- Prepare annual 1099 statements.

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:
- Experience in payroll and/or accounts payable administration preferred.
- Strong computer skills using various applications including Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Vista Viewpoint experience preferred.
- Willingness to use and adapt to new technologies or apps including Kojo, Bluebeam, Finvari, Smartsheet, Procore, etc.
